A look ahead at some NYC hotels slated to open soon...
Great Jones Hotel
Great Scott!! One of NoHo’s more obscure yet trendy streets will soon be home to a new 48-room boutique hotel. The Great Jones Hotel, scheduled to open in the spring will contain a bar/lounge, a restaurant, and a spa.
Element Times Square West
This 411-room Element Times Square West hotel opened last month. Currently the Element has plans for two small meeting rooms that can accommodate a total of 20 guests. An interesting touch to this Hotel-- each suite will have fully functional kitchens.
Yotel Times Square
Yotel who?? This Times Square monstrosity will house a whopping 600+ rooms. The hotel, which opens in February, will house a restaurant and meeting rooms.
After some delays, Starwood W Hotels’ brand will go “aloft” in March. The Aloft brand has a young trendy vibe with the bar serving pear infused white rum and wild blueberry vodka.
The Nolitan Hotel
The Nolitan Hotel, located within the little Italy’s now 2-block radius, is slated to open this February. This boutique 55-room hotel is packed with all the standard NYC hotel fare including a rooftop lounge, a restaurant, and a sidewalk cafe. The 70 seat on site restaurant by Jimmy Bradley and Stephen Eckler will serve Italian cuisine. According to Hotel Chatter, the Nolitan rooftop lounge has “killer views.”
Mondrain SoHo is tentatively scheduled to open in February. This 270-room hotel will house an outdoor bar and west coast eatery Asia De Cuba. The restaurant will feature open city views.
