Yesterday, event planners gathered at The Fulton for the Event Profs Pre-Holiday Soiree. The ‘soiree’, which was organized by Liz King, can be best described as a coalescence of talent from across the industry. Everything from the lighting, to the music, to the photography and food seemed to be competing for the crowd’s attention and approval.

Impressing such a discerning group is no easy task yet it seems like the event’s sponsors may have well succeeded! The lighting by NiceUplights was revolutionary featuring the first iPad operated wireless ‘uplights’. These new ‘uplights’, which could change hue at the swipe of a finger, gave the 3,800 sq ft venue a dynamic and colorful atmosphere. At one point, the DJ took utilized the uplights to compliment the vibe of the music (what DJ could resist?). As for food, The Fulton provided full in-house catering for the event serving delicious quesadillas and sliders throughout the evening.

The Event Profs Pre-Holiday Soiree offered an excellent opportunity for meeting professionals to network and mingle. The event marks the first of hopefully many future holiday parties organized by Liz King.
