La Mar Opening This Summer
South American cuisine and specifically, Peruvian ceveche appears to be the hottest new culinary trend in NY. The Nuela restaurant team is fully prepared to meet the (seemingly) insatiable demand for fine Latin food with a menu crafted by head chef Adam Schop and a drink selection by world renown mixologist Alex Ott. Nuela, a 200 seat Pan Latino restaurant which opened last July, is perfect for events and banquets with 60 seats in the front, 65 seats in the Cevicheria, and 80 seats in the back dining area. The decor is lively and trendy with modern art work and bold red accent colors interspersed throughout the main dining areas. The Nuela's backers are making a big bet on Latin food. Later this summer, they will open Argentinian steak house La Mar inside the former Tabla restaurant space.
