Great Places, the number one venue and event-related services resource, launched its re-designed web site,, on August 21st.  One feature of the revamped site is state-of-the-art search functionality for visitors through streamlined navigation and a defined search feature that makes venues and related services searchable by a variety of criteria. 

“We talked and listened to corporate and private event planners to find out what they thought would better help them when searching for venues and services,” said Richard Thorne, Publisher of the Great Places Directory.  “As a result, we broadened our search criteria while simplifying the process.”  Planners can now use one or several criteria to search for a venue, including location, square footage, capacity, cuisine, and multimedia capabilities.
