Great Places Venue Czar Stephen Fried (@VenueCzar) had been on the move again and we'd like to share some of the great places he's been visiting...

Proper West  is a fun sports bar and venue on West 39th Street next door to Parker and Quinn  and the Refinery Rooftop — which is perfect for outdoor events.

Terrace on the Park in Flushing is an iconic space that just went through a multimillion dollar renovation.

Wallplay pairs creative content with sponsorship in virtual and physical spaces around New York City. They have a collection of fun and unique loft and gallery spaces such as 118 Orchard, 199 Mott and The Hole.

National Sawdust
is an old sawdust factory in Williamsburg that's been turned into a really interesting space that will function as a concert hall, night club, recording studio and musical hangout. It's opening this fall.

Attended the opening party at O Ya, a fantastic new sushi spot by Tim and Nancy Cushman of O Ya in Boston. They are also the creative genius behind the Rooftop at Park South Hotel, which is a great venue featuring Garden at Roof, a fully private event space surrounded by organic greenery. The duo will also be creating some culinary magic soon at the Top of the Strand.
