Michael Psilakis is responsible for putting Modern Greek cuisine on the culinary map. He has earned many of the food world’s highest honors, including a Michelin star and a James Beard Award nomination. In between writing cookbooks, television projects and family time, Psilakis operates six venues including the flagship brand MP Taverna, a modern approach to a traditional Greek tavern (with three locations in Astoria, Roslyn and Irvington), the ten year old Greek mainstay Kefi and Fishtag, an intimate seafood and wine bar, both on the UWS. The group offers a variety of private dining rooms, semi-private spaces and full buy out options throughout the greater NY area for both leisure and corporate affairs.
